The uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, suffering of businesses due to lock down and decrement of businesses all over South Africa ,financial safety and fear has been one of the most important pointers during this time.
We are facing a COVID-19 time where not only unemployment is on the rise, business safety as well as future plays a big role in our society and therefore everyone has looked twice to financial well beings.
Currently, for patients on a medical scheme, we submit claims on behalf of patients to the medical scheme for reimbursement.
Due to COVID-19 outbreak beginning of March’20 financial implications happened to all members of the public by decrease in salary or possibly employment losses and fear of COVID-19 resulting in 80% loss of income within Healthcare Facilities.
What is the solution?
We not only submit claims to medical aid but also cut our consultation fee’s to R380 to accommodate all members of the public during COVID-19
Nite-Doc also joined venture with ER24 by introducing Virtual Healthcare to all members of the public via Bonita’s new drive system Allegra.
We have changed the system from walk in patients to appointment based only. Ensuring social distancing during this time and safety for both staff and patient.
Our hours have changed to accommodate COVID-19 as below:
Mondays 17:00 – 20:00
Tuesdays Mornings 09:00 – 13:00 and 17:00 – 20:00
Wednesdays 17:00 – 20:00
Thursdays Mornings 09:00 – 13:00 and 17:00 – 20:00
Fridays 17:00 – 20:00
Saturdays 15:00 -19:00
Sundays 15:00 -19:00
Public Holidays 15:00 – 19:00
When will the new system be implemented?
All new patients, and existing cash patients visiting Nite-Doc from 1 May 2020, will be charged the lower consultation fee of R380 and will be treated.
